Declaration of Union 

3. It shall be lawful for the Queen, by and with the Advice of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, to declare by Proclamation that, on and after a Day therein appointed, not being more than Six Months after the passing of this Act, the Provinces of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick shall form and be One Dominion under the Name of Canada; and on and after that Day those Three Provinces shall form and be One Dominion under that Name accordingly. 연방선언에 관한 내용

제3조 여왕은 추밀원(캐나다의 군주의 자문기관)의 권고로 이 헌법이 통과된 날부터 6개월 이내 로 정한 날짜에 캐나다, 노바스코 시아 및 뉴 브런즈윅주가 캐나다 명의로 하나의 자치령이 된다.그 리고 그 날 세 개의 주가 그 이름 하에 하나의 자치령으로 된다.
