Battle summary
  • Decisive victory, all enemy ships disabled, many sunk in action.
  • Aggressive Destroyer Torpedo tactic successful but costly.
  • All participating Tribal-class Destroyers out of service. Fortunately, is little cost to the fleet for its redundancy.
  • The cause for the loss of Kirishima and Haruna is hard to believe as a bad luck, it may expose a concerning design flaw for Battlecruisers; its weak armour in comparison to its size and displacement.
  • Importance of appropriate damage control can be emphasised from cases such as the crippled Seydlitz and Yukikaze.
  • RJN and Kingdom of Japan as a whole demonstrated its capability to the world, in securing victory of world's only clash between fleet of Dreadnought Battleships; great for internal and external influence.
  • PSAN Navy reduced to atoms. Extraction of naval assets from PSA now impossible, but was not expected from the beginning. Recommend acknowledging PSA's ownership of the beached naval assets.
